Virus and Spyware Removal
Viruses and spyware are two of the most common -- and most destructive -- problems faced by computer users. We advise all of our customers on the latest, most effective and most economical means to intercept and detect wiruses and spyware and prevent them from making themselves at home on your computer. However, antivirus and anti-spyware software is not 100 percent effective. Hackers are busy writing new viruses and new spyware programs every day. They are constantly figuring our new, improved ways to bring down your computer, steal your passwords and acounts numbers, etc. It takes time for the companies that produce virus and spyware detection software to detect new threats and devise a program to detect them and disable them. In the meantime, your machine is vulnerable. One a virus or spyware program takes up residence on your computer, it often invites other viruses or spyware. One of the first things that many viruses do is to disable your virus protection program. At this point, you need professional help. We are experienced at identifying virus and spyware infections. Many times, we can remove the offending programs without loss of data -- it depends on the type of virus and where it is located.
Data Recovery
Our first advice regarding data recovery is to have a system for backing up your data files on a regular basis. Having said that, many people find themselves with a crashed hard drive, nasty virus or other proglem that threatens access to the data on their hard drive. (including password-protected data)
